Women’s Campaign Fund Endorses Lisa Subeck for Assembly 
National Organization has 40 year history of helping women win; Tammy Baldwin, Gwen Moore, Elizabeth Warren have also received group’s support 

The Women’s Campaign Fund (WCF) has announced their unanimous endorsement of Lisa Subeck for Wisconsin Assembly. The Women’s Campaign Fund is a national, non-partisan organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in elected office who support reproductive health choices for all. 

“Women’s Campaign Fund is proud to endorse Lisa Subeck in her campaign to represent Wisconsin’s 78th Assembly District,” said Clare Bresnahan, Political & Programs Director for WCF. “With her experience, her proven track record and her passion for improving the lives of women and families, Lisa is the most qualified candidate in the race. Lisa will be a strong and effective representative for her District and on the issues that matter most to them.” 

This is the second national endorsement for Subeck who has also earned the support of EMILY’s List. Other organization endorsing Subeck include AFSCME Wisconsin People, Citizen Action of Wisconsin AFSCME Local 171, SEIU, National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter, and Wisconsin Women in Numbers (WIN). 

Lisa Subeck is the proven, progressive leader in the Democratic primary to replace Brett Hulsey in the 78th District. Subeck has spent her career standing up for progressive values as a former executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin, a pre-school and head start teacher, and as an advocate for homeless women and children. A two term member of the Madison City Council, she is currently on leave from her job as Executive Director of United Wisconsin where she leads grassroots efforts focused on raising the minimum wage and voting rights.
